In principle using a broker to purchase your insurance should make a lot of sense, particularly if you want advice. Direct insurers and comparison websites can’t give advice as opposed to information – with them you are on your own when you make your decision. This may well suit you in the circumstances.

In theory and in reality you should be getting really good service from a broker. But that doesn’t always happen. The same with a direct insurer.
